Work-Fit
Off Webflow and onto a platform the team controls
Challenge
Work-Fit is the industrial arm of Alliance Physical Therapy Partners, a physical-therapist-led company founded in 2017 that has grown to more than 130 clinic locations across the United States. Where Alliance’s clinics treat patients who come to them, Work-Fit goes to the workplace: injury-prevention staff embedded in industrial sites, running ergonomics, injury management, return-to-work, respirator fit testing, audiometry, and telehealth across every shift and location a client operates. The website is where plant managers and HR leads first size them up, and where they ask for a conversation.
The site ran on Webflow, and it was the exception. The rest of Alliance’s fleet already ran on WordPress. That left one brand sitting on a second platform with its own editor, its own conventions, and its own bill, inside a portfolio that was otherwise standardized. Every person who touched the site had to know a system they didn’t use anywhere else.
Nothing was broken. That is usually why this kind of work gets deferred. The cost of running an exception is spread thin across a lot of small moments rather than concentrated in one failure, so it never becomes urgent on its own. Work-Fit decided to close the gap while the decision was still theirs to schedule.
Approach
Keep the design, change the foundation. The brief was not a redesign. cre8 rebuilt the site in WordPress and aligned the design so visitors and staff met something familiar on the other side. The visible change was meant to be no change; the change was underneath.
Move the content, not just the pages. Page content and the blog came across so nothing that had been earning search traffic on Webflow went missing on WordPress.
Coordinate the cutover with their people, not around them. Domain coordination ran with Work-Fit’s internal tech team rather than over their heads. That is the part of a replatform most likely to go wrong in public and the part a client feels most exposed on.
Land it on infrastructure that fits. The site runs on WordPress on Microsoft Azure, where Alliance’s other systems already sat. cre8 runs Azure for other clients, so this was a supported configuration rather than a one-off.
Outcome
- Work-Fit is off Webflow and on WordPress, with the design carried across intact.
- The brand joined the rest of Alliance’s fleet on one platform, so there is one editor to train on and one set of conventions to maintain.
- The cutover happened without a public stumble, coordinated with Work-Fit’s internal team, and the project landed on schedule.
- Work-Fit reports more form submissions, which was the main goal going in, and more traffic to the site since the move.
- Alliance’s other specialty brand, BioCorrect, followed later in 2026 with a smaller engagement: cre8 migrated its blog into WordPress and built starter templates its team now fills in.
“They made what was an overwhelming project for our team into a managed project. They were very patient with us in all aspects of the project, from communication to out-of-scope additions.”
