Challenge

The National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) is the national voice of the reverse mortgage industry, serving as an educational resource, policy advocate and public affairs center for lenders and related professionals. NRMLA was established in 1997 to enhance the professionalism of the reverse mortgage business.

Approach/Solution

Their site previously was running on a proprietary, .NET based CMS. We moved them to a WordPress setup which was tailored to their specific content and event registration needs.

NRMLA uses a 3rd party service to handle member and event registration services, but still needed an easy way to promote and market their events and add timely mortgage news for their members.

The old site had all the content contained in a master Reference section. We split it up into Industry Reference, News Coverage and Resources sections so content would be easier for visitors to browse, as well as categorize for NRMLA. Certain content is also ‘members-only’ and is available after logging in.
