Challenge

NAIPC® (National Aging in Place Council) was founded on the belief that most older Americans want to remain in their homes as they age, yet many lack awareness of the home and community-based services available to help them maintain independence. The organization needed an accessible online resource to connect seniors with local service providers and products while also offering helpful content on aging in place.

Approach/Solution

We developed the award-winning Age In Place website using the DotNetNuke (DNN) CMS platform via the .NET framework. The site is a comprehensive, searchable resource for seniors and their families, allowing users to easily find local service providers and products to support independent living. In addition to content targeted at seniors, the platform also features functionality for NAIPC®’s local chapters, enabling them to manage and promote events through an integrated calendar system.

Results
The Age In Place website successfully provided a centralized platform for seniors and their families to access valuable information and connect with local resources. It also empowered NAIPC® chapters to engage with their communities by promoting events and sharing local services.
